Endometriosis is a condition where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus, leading to chronic pain and infertility. It is most commonly found in the pelvic cavity and ovaries. The disease can cause symptoms such as severe pain during menstruation, irregular bleeding, and bowel problems. Hormonal treatments, surgical interventions, and lifestyle changes can be used to alleviate symptoms. Endometriosis can significantly impact women’s reproductive health and increase the risk of infertility.
